Rusty Dog Forge, blacksmithing by Harry Foster

This forged ironwork was made for a
dear friend that had an old wood Dough Trencher that
is quite beautiful, but with no way to properly
display it. We agreed that it should be supported in
front of a bay window to perhaps provide an ideal
home to some plants, the rest being up to me. My
first rough sketch when I saw the trencher is the one
I went with in the end. The stock is mainly quarter
by one and a quarter flat stock that has been
textured by a home made texturing hammer. Then there
is some 3/8ths round stock to support some leaves,
also textured and veined. For another view,
